IDC (International Design Contest) started by Tokyo-Tech and MIT, and counts 21st contest this year.

University students from 8 countries make up shuffled teams and go for winning the robot contest called "Robocon". They share life and knowledge for about 2 weeks, and exchange their ideas of robotics over the wall of language or culture.

The 2010 contest is held on August 5 to 18, hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China.
